PRIVACY POLICY

O2 Fitness takes the protection of your personal data seriously. In this Privacy Policy we want to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.

We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy, which is why we handle personal data carefully. O2 Fitness is always subject to applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. This implies that we, at least:

– Process your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which it was provided, and those purposes and types of personal data are described in this Privacy Policy;
– The processing of your personal data is limited to only the data that is minimally required for the purposes for which it is processed;
– Ask for your express consent if we need it for processing your personal data;

Processing of personal data

O2 Fitness processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. The personal data is processed for the following purpose(s):

– Administrative purposes;
– Communication about assignments and/or invitations;
– Implementing or issuing an assignment.
– Sharing information via press releases.

 

The basis for this personal information is:
– The agreed assignment, written registration for membership;

O2 Fitness may request the following personal data from you for the purpose(s) listed above:
– First name and surname;
– Address information;
– Gender;
– Date of birth;
– Phone number;
– E-mail address;
– Payment details;
– Intake information (including medical information);
– Information regarding your membership.

We keep your data to the extent necessary to carry out the purposes for which we process your data and never for longer than legally permitted during the term of your membership.

Processing of special personal data

O2 Fitness processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data, if you provide it to us for the performance of the service:
– data about health
– data on weight
– data about training goals
– data via wearables

O2 Fitness is extra careful with this personal data and processes it only if it is strictly necessary for the performance of the service. This data is only provided to others within O2 Fitness if they need the information to carry out their work.

Provision to third parties

We may provide the information you give to us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the purposes listed above.

For example, we use a third party for:
– Handling our administration;
– Sending out newsletters and invitations.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a processor agreement. Of course we make the necessary arrangements with these parties (processors) to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not pass on the information you have provided to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us consent in writing.

Within the EU

We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the EU.

 

Minors

We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) with written consent from the parent, caregiver or legal representative.

We allow visitors to our website to contact us via a contact form. However, we cannot check whether a visitor on our website 16 or older. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data about children from being collected without prior consent. If you’re convinced that we have collected personal information of a minor without consent, please contact us at one of the branches listed below and we will delete that information.

 

Storage period

O2 Fitness does not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law.
